   Wingate Inn Hotel Franchise Information: Since the first Wingate Inn hotel opened in 1996, the brand has been labeled as "focused service," meaning that Wingate Inns is dedicated to providing services and amenities that cater specifically to today's traveler. Today, Wingate has nearly 150 hotels with over 13,000 guest rooms nationwide, with plans for accelerated growth over the next few years. In 2004, Wingate Inns entered the international market with out first hotels in Ireland, with 12 planned to open in the next five years.

Wingate Inns were the first hotel chain in the category to offer FREE high-speed Internet access in all guest rooms.   • What are the start-up fees? The application Fee is $1,000. The Initial Franchise Fee is $35,000.
  • What about royalties? Yes, a monthly Royalty Fee is required, which is similar to other franchise royalty fees.
  • Do you have any properties for sale? No, we purely franchise and do not own any of our franchises. Therefore, we are never in competition with you!
  • Do I have to construct a whole new facility? Yes - nearly all Wingate Inn facilities are new construction, except in key center city locations.
  • Can I have a partner in a franchise? Wingate Inns welcomes investor groups. Most of our franchisees are investors in an entity that owns the hotel.
  • Most franchises have national marketing programs. Do I pay for this service? Wingate Inn has a national marketing program that benefits our franchisees. We've established a formula that requires you pay a certain percentage of your monthly gross room revenue to cover the costs of the marketing programs.
  • Can I own more than one franchise? Absolutely! In fact, a number of our franchisees own multiple Wingate Inn hotels.
