Gelato di Roma Creameries are the brainchild of Allie T. Mallad, an entrepreneur whose recent formula for success has everyone exploring the finer points of a favorite comfort food - Italian ice cream, or gelato. Allie's operational expertise coupled with his entrepreneurial passion and marketing savvy, eventually gave rise to the Gelato di Roma concept.

Gelato is Italian ice cream. It has a richer flavor and thicker texture than regular ice cream because it includes more solids, no preservatives and less air. Since the air content is only about 45% (versus 100% in regular ice cream) and the fat about 7% (versus 16% in regular ice cream), the product is denser and the flavors more concentrated. Gelato di Roma offers 51 flavors (all made on premises with 100% natural ingredients and no preservations), including a line of intensely flavorful fruit sorbet, sugar free flavors and cakes. Gelato di Romas also offer pizza - a natural fit for the consumer as well as an operationally perfect match for the business model.

Training - We provide comprehensive training before and during your grand opening as well as ongoing training and education in many forms long after you've served your first gelato. Our passion is gelato and we serve it with uncompromising pride. We provide 21 days of training at Gelato di Roma University for the franchisee and up to 3 additional key personnel in Riverside, California. We also provide 10 days of on-site training at your location after your business opens. Site Selection - We'll be with you every step of the way to get your new business up and running. We'll assist you with selecting your site and provide consulting to help you negotiate your lease. Construction - Experienced personnel will assist you every step of the way utilizing our 150-day countdown manual to open your business. Marketing - Our marketing department will work with you to implement a Grand Opening campaign designed to create name awareness and generate immediate customer visits to your new store. This campaign is tailored to the needs of your store's demographic area. It will feature advertising materials and promotions to build your customer count and generate initial sales.
